From other's point of view

For this task, we had to write a story from another person's perspective and to be honest, I am not so sure if I understand the meaning "changing the point of view" completely. This task was really interesting for me because it was really hard to decide from who's perspective should I write about since the setting of my story was "me sitting beside the window alone in my room with no one around."
but I do think that my piece shows the understanding that if you write from other's point of view, the story changes completely because we see and feel things differently. For instance for my piece, the first  person feels sad and depressed but the second feels almost the opposite of sad and depressed even though both characters are in the same scene. Although it was a hard task, I enjoyed it a lot and I would like to do this again.

We all feel differently of different things. That's makes us all unique and different from others.

  1. I felt the same frustration. My story/scene was about me going to the skate park like just me so there wasn't really anyone else's POV that i could write about. So i kinda had to guess what the other people were feeling and thinking

  2. I am glad to know that I wasn't the only one who struggled with this task for not knowing who's perspective I should write about. I guess this task was quite hard for a lot of people because they had to feel and think and see completely different from your own perspective.

  3. yeah its really hard to be someone else because really they only person you can be is you

  4. Thats what makes us unique and different because we have different feelings!
